Day Three
Day three we decided to give her a taster once she gets home from school and today it was squash soup!
200mils slightly diluted with a bit of her milk down and again no retching so pleased how well this is going.
so to recap she has had
1 banana with 100 mills of her milk
1 banana with cream and bit of her milk
200 mils of butternut squash soup (home made by mummy)
for someone who has never really eaten proper food this is amazing.

if this is going to work we will have to buy some mega blender so we can blend up anything we eat in order to give it to BB.

day two
day two and more banana and cream today.
no retching at all since starting this new eatting proper food but i'm sure its just bb showing off telling us yeah i can handle food just didn't want to tell you about it!
its been a promising start to this trial, mite up it next week end to two nana's! small baby steps so she has the week off now as we need to talk to school if they are happy to feed her blended stuff, which they mite not be as there is funny rules about heatin or re-heating the food so ummm we shall see. the worst they can say is NO and we have to send in milk for her to drink/eat while at school.
speak to you next weekend unless we try do a evening feed ummm maybe.

Sensory Corner
having finished building the extension we have now started building her sensory corner,
sticking old CD's on to a desk we have built specially for her corner!
tacked some material we have bought for this reason and stuck lights EVERY WARE! i think Blackpool would be hard pushed to have more lights than she has in her bedroom.

ITS DONE
the extensions is finally completed!
b moved in two weeks ago, and as always we have found a few teething problems. mainly that the video monitor we had provided by our community OT would work ANY were in the house except in our bedroom, handy for when we go to bed!
new boiler for heating is now in also, as the old one wouldn't have coped for very long with the extra rads we put on to it, and again having teething problems with it! some of the rads are not getting warm on the lower half. dunno a fix for that so its back to the plumbers...
B is liking her new room with change colour light bulb and almost total sensory room, there is much jealousy from mummy n daddy at how nice her room actually looks. maybe its the fact the rest of the house is still upside down from having bits and pieces init that aren't meant to be there! but we are slowly getting here. the house is getting back into shape!
B annoyingly has started to do her knee drawing up thing that she did last year, there is no reason for her doing it, she does it when feed and when not, when having cuddles, when sleeping, the only thing i can say with certainty is she looks like she is in pain and is very distressed when she is doing it.
